Looking for the top sites and most popular links? You've come to the right place, but there are some things to know beforehand... |
The Shuffle! List™ is not a traditional one-domain Web site. Rather,
it is what's known as a domain-driven utility consisting of multiple projects.
The reason behind the domain-driven system is for a feature known as "direct navigation"
where you could take yourself directly to your content of choice by typing a Web address
directly into your browser's address bar. This is for users who want to bypass search
engines because they're not looking for a specific item or Web site, but just want to be entertained.
Take ShuffleTV.com
for example, it will show you all sites that focus on Movies, Trailers, TV, or Hollywood in general. |
The Shuffle! List is for the eclectic Web surfer. |
Shuffling will quickly take you to all the top sites with each click of the Shuffle! button. There are many
shortcut domains to help you quickly reach your
preferred content. Take ShuffleNews.com for example,
going there will take you to Web sites on The Official Shuffle! List™ belonging to
various media outlets, any of which could be added to your very own Shuffle! List. If you want to manage the
links you've added to your list, you would go to ManageMSL.com.
To view them using the Shuffle! Navigator go to MyShuffleList.com. |

"What is Shuffling?" |
It's channel-surfing the Web, a leisure activity. It's similar to surfing the Internet, but with shuffling, users (Shufflers) are guaranteed to find more content that interests them.
Why? Because they're not limited to their search results, or to the same 5-10 sites they frequent on a daily basis. Yes, users
place a lot of limitations on themselves when exploring the Internet, and they do this without realizing it. Shuffling helps
those users realize that the Internet has a lot more to offer than those 5-10 sites they see every day, and it empowers them to
come across new content or media... (a) which they never knew existed, or (b) which would otherwise take too much time to find. |
Shuffling works by clicking the animated Shuffle! image in the navigator. When you see something you like,
you stop shuffling. When you come across something you want more of, you can add it to My Shuffle! List.
This custom list can then be accessed by visiting MyShuffleList.com
from any computer. If you feel like sharing your links with others, you have the option to publish your list at which point
you will be asked to assign it a unique Keyword. To separate the links you want to share from your favorite links, use the Favorites
category which correlates with ShuffleFaves.com for easy access. |
Shuffling is very useful for all types of Internet Users. It is designed to keep Expert Internet Users updated on the latest and greatest
content and media on the Internet, while at the same time helps Novice to Everyday Internet Users discover Web sites they
normally would not come across. |
The biggest advantage that shuffling has over any other form of Internet entertainment is that it's easy to do. You
don't have to know what's out there in order to find it, so there's no searching involved. When shuffling, the topics
that interest you end up finding their way to your browser. There's no wasting time sorting through endless search
results, and there's no need to wonder what you're going to search for, or which site to visit next. Besides, forget searching if
you want to be entertained because the last thing you want to see in your leisure time is something that you expected
to see. After specifying a category of interest within the Shuffle! Navigator, it does all the work for you. It'll send
the categorized links to your Internet browser so that you could easily skim through them with the click of a button.
We refer to this activity as simply "shuffling the Internet" because you never know where
you'll end up, but can be guaranteed that it will be a quality Web site. |
"How could I make it work for me?" |
Shuffling is very user-friendly, not to mention, easy to access. You could
use it
everyday to get the content you're in the mood for. Here are some examples... |
"I like seeing new content—all the time." |
So do we! That's why we designed
ShuffleHourly.com to make sure you get the latest content
the Web has to offer. When visiting this Web address, the Shuffle!
Navigator tool will open with the correct settings to make sure you only see Web pages that are
always being updated, more specifically, pages that are being
updated at least every hour. The same applies for ShuffleDaily.com.
Go there to find pages that get updated at least every day. |
"I want to see Sports content, and nothing else." |
"I only want to see the Sports sites that I frequently visit." |
That's right! Visiting ShuffleSports.com
will not show you your favorite sites, instead, it will default to showing you the Sports links that other Shufflers have added to their list with the MSL Live
feature enabled. You can then deselect the MSLive checkbox in order to find sites being shuffled on The Official Shuffle! List.
To see your Sports list, go to MyShuffleList.com and then select
the Sports category. |
"What's The Official Shuffle! List used for?" |
For users who want to quickly channel-surf their favorite categories to discover new media and updated content. It
doesn't get any quicker than turning ShuffleOn.com where we're
certain you'll find something that interests in seconds. |
The Official Shuffle! List—primarily accessed via TheShuffleList.com—gathers links from hundreds of top Web sites
and classifies them by category. Let's say your preferred topics are Science & Technology. You're used to seeing Science and Technology on sites like ABC News.com; CBS News.com;
TIME.com; CNN.com; AOL.com; MSN.com; etc. either together on one page, or in separate sections. When viewing these Science or Technology sections
you find news about the latest studies and innovations, view futuristic photos, read interesting articles and comments on the latest electronics
...it's endless when it comes to the Internet. So what The Shuffle! List asks
is... If you're ever in the mood to view any of these things, why bother visiting just one of the aforementioned Web sites when you can simply go to TheShuffleList.com
and select the Science & Tech category—or even use the shortcut ShuffleSCIENCE.com—and visit all of
them? |
Finally, once you see something you like, you could
easily add its link to your My Shuffle! List account by clicking:

...found inside the Shuffle! Navigator tool. Signing up is not required. |
